APPRENTICE (Ages ~7–12)
The Apprentice Program at Forge Martial Arts offers a more structured and challenging curriculum designed for pre-teens who are ready for advanced learning. This program bridges the gap between beginner youth training and high-level martial arts development, focusing on refinement, progression, and personal responsibility.
Apprentice students learn intermediate Kung Fu San Soo techniques, including combinations, partner drills, advanced stances, conditioning exercises, and self-defense applications. They also begin training with increased precision, building proper alignment, timing, and coordination.
This program helps students build mental toughness and self-discipline. Pre-teens learn goal setting, personal accountability, and how to push through challenges, skills that transfer directly into academic and personal success. Many parents notice major improvements in confidence, emotional control, and maturity.
Students also begin taking on leadership opportunities by assisting younger classes or demonstrating techniques during training sessions. This helps them build character, communication skills, and a strong sense of teamwork.
The Apprentice Program prepares students for the Ironbound level, where training intensity, technical detail, and personal growth deepen even further.
